RDT52: Remote display for the connection of multiple digital junction boxes

RDT52 remote display terminal is designed as a display and keyboard interface for Leon Engineering’s DJB. It provides 6-digit high visibility LED display with 5 status annunciators for the display of weight data and operator prompts. A keypad of 6 keys is used for operator interfacing. The unit maybe be used in master mode whereby it may poll up to 30 DJBs connected in a network or in slave mode whereby it will only display information from a selected DJB.

The communication with the DJB is realized via the standard RS485 interface. The RDT52 can be also connected to the LD-Series indicators of Leon Engineering as a remote display terminal. Two versions are available: Base model RDT52A maybe used for approved weighing applications not requiring printouts or totalization. Extended model RDT52B maybe connected to a printer or to a PC via the additional RS232 port and allow also printouts conform to the European regulations, since it is equipped with real-time clock and Alibi memory.
