Our solution
Each Recycling Sorting Plant needs a system to manage the incoming waste material.
Leon engineering has customized to meet the needs of each RSPs providing the necessary tools and equipments for the complete automation of its functional areas (entry/exit gates and weighing procedure) and the tools for waste weighing management and business analysis (weighbridge management software, statistical data, indicators, etc.).
With this solution the truck driver performs the unloading process in automatic mode, interacting with the system components: the truck driver goes to the entry weighbridge where he identifies himself using the touch panel terminal or his RFID card and gets registered to the system. After checking with positioning sensors that the truck is in the correct position ,traffic lights inform him to proceed, onto the weighbridge where he performs the weighing operation. Finally he exits the weighbridge and the system registers the weigh and prints the necessary documentation in the kiosk, which concludes the operation.
The installed solution is consisted of:
- One unattended 18-metre weighbridge with a capacity of 70 tons
- Vehicle number plate recognition system
