DIY Transportable Steel Weighbridge |
|
|
|
DIY is a steel transportable weighbridge model designed in two parts, for a quick and easy installation. The first part is the main body, which consists of three or five main modules depending on weighbridge length. Steel foundation can be attached underneath each module as an option. The second part, are the side modules which are bolted on each side of the main modules (yellow painted parts in pictures). These modules work also as side barriers preventing trucks from driving off the weighbridge.
In addition, factory pre-mounted load cells come as a standard equipment of the scale. As a result, the installation time on site is reduced in half a day. Note that all load cells have 2 direction bumpers. Top access to load cells and junction box allows easy maintenance and service.

Pre-fabricated, pre-mounted steel foundation
 |
Different foundation options are providing the opportunity to have temporary weighing sites. This is very useful for:
- Construction sites, mines, quarries, or agricultural applications, where often changes of weighbridge location is necessary
- Rented areas, so that weighbridge foundation does not remain in rented area when contract ends
- Leasing contracts that can also include foundations
- Quick weighbridge start up, customer can have a weighing station in less than 1 day
- Renting of weighbridges

Transportable steel ramps
 |
A set of four steel entry and exit ramps are available as an option with the following specications:
Width: 1200mm
Height: a. 360mm (combined with existing concrete foundation)
b. 375mm (combined with SF15)
c. 500mm (combined with SF140)

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
 |
Our structural design team incorporates the latest of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) technology to analyze in detail the exact stress condition of the weighbridge when subjected to operational and environmental loads. Thus an optimum and robust weighbridge design is achieved that ensures high durability and accurate functionality during operation.
