It is unquestionable that cement and concrete have marked the way and the form of building in the 20th century. In fact concrete is the second most used product in the world, immediately after water. Manufacturing Process:

1. Extraction of the raw materials: The raw materials required to manufacture cement are limestone and clay. Rocks are extracted from the quarry and then routed to the plant on a conveyor belt.
2. Production process: The received raw materials are firstly stored and then processed in the cement manufacturing plant in order produce the end product.
3. Packing and Shipping: The end product (cement) is then stored in silos ready to be shipped to the end client. Cement can be shipped in bulk, in bags or pallets, etc.

Quarry: Leon Engineering uses a Quarry management system consisted of a heavy duty weighbridge or axle scale that manages the entry, exit and weighing of all vehicles in a automatic mode and a weighing management software. The software can integrate with  ERP managing all the shipping activity of the quarry.

Truck Loading Weighbridge System

Cement Plant: Leon Engineering has an extensive experience in truck loading and unloading processes in cement plants. The system focuses on main operational areas (shipping, packing, entry, exit, bulk, bags and raw materials) by providing automatic weighbridges, tank weighing systems etc. Moreover, an evolutionary information management system is applied with ERP interaction for full administration and data diagnostic tools for business decision making.
